Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 6.56.05 AM Sean Villanueva O’Driscoll, Nicolas Favresse, Stephane Hanssens and Evrard Wendenbaum are bad-to-the-bone, tough-as-nails motherfuckers. I’ve always admired the goals they chosen in climbing, and the way with which they’ve approached these dreams.

Their making a feature-length film about their recent expedition to western China, in which they spent 14 days on the wall climbing a fantastic-looking 1,200-meter pillar on Kyzyl Asker (5824m). They faced storms and tough mixed conditions and a healthy dose of rowdy alpine groveling.

I’m plugging the film because the trailer fired me up, and because they are currently crowd-sourcing the funding they need to complete the film, “China Jam.” Check it out and consider contributing to the film, or sharing it on social media.
